Pros and cons of LaView NET app for iPhone and iPad

LaView NET app good for

A lot of people knock these cameras because of the app. Me personally, Ive never had an issue with them. And if I have had to contact tech support, as in the case of utilizing system features to clarify the picture quality, or assist with configuring the app, they have been expedient and assisted me until completion. If your having an issue with the app, contact tech support and they will help you until the problem is resolved.
After update none of my camera feeds work any more. Gives me [error code:17]. Youll have to reconfigure your device to get it going.

Some bad moments

After installing new update cameras not working on IPhone 6 Plus. Please make a fix fast.
Crashes when it goes to save- horrible setup (which it erases when you try to save) completely useless app
Works great on the iPhone 6 but I do get frequent memory errors on the app. When I do, I would have to exit the App and close all my other apps. This is the only app that gives me this error. Is there anything wrong with the way this app manages memory I wonder?
I went out and bought this companys 16 camera system for my new home. Dropped a couple of thousand dollars on it just to be completely surprised by the lack of mobile app support!!! They have about 10 different camera viewing apps that basically dont have any support or updates. Some apps havent been updated in more then two years!!! This leads me to be believe that they hire programmers to design and code the app and then fire them!!!! This app is a disgrace! Like others said, it doesnt function for more then a minute. Insufficient memory errors, settings dont save, app crashes. Its really a shame that for such an expensive product, they cant make a decent app for it. How in the world do they expect to continue selling their products without a decent mobile app?!!!!! Do yourself a favor and go buy a real product that has real support.
The app is easy to set up if you know your IP address information. Must have port forwarding set up in router for it to work outside of your local internet connection. Allows live view and playback of cameras.
Easy and straight forward app. It took me awhile to find the option to change the image to "clear" which is closer to HD. I was very frustrated at the image quality for 1080p cameras until I found the option above. One very very big con, IT WILL DRAIN YOUR BATTERY LIKE NO OTHER! Seriously I dont know if this is a glitch but my iPhone 6s Plus will literally drop a better percent about every 20-30 seconds.
